Stand up zipper bags built for dried mango and other sugar rich dried fruit.
Dried mango carries high sugar content, so it softens and turns sticky once it takes up moisture, and its amber color darkens under light and oxygen. The bag uses multi layer composite film, with PET/VMPET/PE as standard and BOPP/AL/PE for longer shelf life targets.
The metallized or aluminium foil layer limits water vapor and oxygen transfer and blocks light, while the inner PE layer seals the pack and forms the food contact surface.
The bottom gusset panel keeps the bag standing on shelf and holds volume from compact retail packs to larger family packs. Tear notch above the zipper lets consumers open the bag by hand, and the press to close zipper keeps the remaining pieces sealed.

Q1: Why is a high barrier layer recommended for dried mango bags?
A1: Dried mango is packed with high residual sugar, and sugar keeps pulling moisture from the air around the pack. Temperature swings and pressure changes across the pallet during shipping push that moisture inward faster than most buyers expect for candied fruit. Laminating a metallized or aluminium foil layer into the structure raises the barrier against water vapor, blocks light, and slows oxygen ingress, so the surface stays tack-free, the pieces stay separate, and the amber color holds at the shelf instead of dulling through the first weeks of display.
Q2: Can these stand-up bags be manufactured with a hang hole for pegboard display?
A2: Yes. We can add a reinforced hang hole in the top header, positioned clear of the zipper track and the tear notch, so neither opening function is affected. The hole is punched through a reinforced patch rather than a single film, so it resists tearing under hanging load and repeated handling by shoppers. Round hole and euro slot are both available, and the position is set against your pegboard pitch before printing.
Q3: Does the zipper closure hold up to repeated opening when the pack holds sticky fruit?
A3: We build the bag with a wide flange press to close the zipper track and interlocking ribs. The wide flange spreads the opening force across more weld area, so the track stays bonded to the film when the pack is lifted by the top seam. Rib geometry closes with firm engagement and pushes sugar residue aside as the track is pressed shut, which keeps the seal working through repeated opening rather than failing on the sugar dust that settles between ribs. A tear notch is placed above the track, so the opening line stays straight, and the zipper remains intact.
Q4: What is the minimum order quantity for printed dried mango bags?
A4: MOQ is set by pouch dimensions, film structure, and cylinder count, since gravure cylinders are built per design and per color. Compact bags with lower color count bring the threshold down, while wider bags with high barrier structure need longer runs to hold unit cost. We also run trial batches for new brand launches, with artwork proof and sealed physical samples approved before the mass run starts.
